Usually when one thinks of the warmer seasons, they think of light, soft, flowy and pastel colours. These looks are dark, masculine and edgy. How more rocker-ish can you get with cropped jackets, suede pants, fringe and leather gear?! But wait a minute, don't you think these things appeal more for the Fall season?
Even though these looks and key words seem to appeal for the Fall season, take a closer look: These designers have strategically made them fit into the Spring/Summer season. How may you ask? Shorts are added in if the top is heavy with a jacket-as in Jean Paul Gaultier's and Balmain's look; The dress shirt is sheer since the pants are going to make you sweat as in Emilio Pucci's look; and in the last 2 looks by Roberto Cavalli and Yohji Yamamoto, wear your bikini underneath your gear. Smart eh? Oh, definitely yes!
