Oh my, when I heard the news, I knew it would be that much more difficult to get my dream bags. Why oh why did the fashion gods have to do this? So, to burst your bubble ladies: Hermes, Dior and Chanel will be having their price increases nearing the end of next week. *Cringe*
For all you Hermes fans, rumour has it that there will be a 12% price increase on February 1st. Birkins will increase $125. That leaves a Birkin to be a minimum of $10000+ per piece! Yikes! 
Dior has also announced a price increase effective January 31st. It has been said that everything from handbags to accessories will be affected.
Chanel's price increase is expected for February 1st as well, but no word on how much the price increase is.
Even though these price increases may or may not be in effect, it is sad to see that these items are getting more expensive as time passes. Luxury designer brands are smart to do these price increases, as it keeps their label exclusive. Hurry up ladies if you've been wanting that handbag for a while. Get them while there still (not so much) cheap.
