Marshalls Canadian Launch This Spring

Known as the 'Winners' of the United States, discounter chain store Marchalls have announced the dates and locations for their Canadian launch this Spring. Marshalls plans to open locations in Leaside, Scarborough and Woodbridge on March 17, 2011 while the downtown location (which will occupy the former nightclub Circa) will open later this year.
With all these American chain stores coming into Canada, Canadian retailers won't stand a chance. It's sad to see Canada slowly converting into the United States, but it can bee a good thing since more competition will hopefully (crosses fingers!) lower prices. I personally do not think that the downtown location would be a good fit for Marshalls. Come on, it's the entertainment district! It will be interesting to see how well Marshalls will do as I always say: you never know! On the bright side, we get to have a shopping destination that offers brand name clothing for less! Hip, hip hurray!
