The People's Choice Awards took place last night at the Nokia Theatre, and I'd have to say that one star stood out from the crowd in a gorgeous dress; and not just
any dress. I must add that this star is a
Canadian film and television actress, and she wore a
Canadian designer. Canada rules!

The Girl Next Door, attended the People's Choice Awards last night in a dazzling gold and black dress from Canadian designer Sunny Fong's Vawk 2012 Resort Collection. Elisha Cuthbert, who I've watched since she was in
Popular Mechanics for Kids always have effortless style choices, and this dress is no exception. The gorgeous floor length dress consists of a detailed gold bodice which flatters Cuthbert's amazing body. I love Sunny Fong's designs-very feminine and sexy yet mysterious. I'm really glad that she chose a Canadian designer, and hopefully we will see more and more Canadian designs on future red carpets! Bravo, Sunny Fong; you totally deserve it!
