The Canadian Style of Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge

Catherine wearing a Smythe jacket

Every Canadian must know that the Duke and Duchess or Cambridge William and Catherine stopped by Canada for a massive 9 day tour last week. The Canadian Tour was the first overseas trip for the newlyweds, and although I was a tad bit disappointed that they didn't stop by Toronto, I was definitely thrilled of Catherine's amazing style!
Even though their entourage was very small, it was reported that Catherine brought over 40 outfits for this special trip. 40 outfits?!? I don't even think I have that many outfits in my own closet! Well, anyways, aside from the rumours and whatnot, Catherine hit every style note, and you can definitely tell that she has her own signature style of her own. Her signature style comprises of timeless pieces with a modern edge; her outfits are usually knee length and consisted mostly of neutral shades (with the occasional POP of colour). I really liked how Catherine incorporated Canadian designers in her wardrobe; it shows that she really loves Canada! Let's explore, shall we? Here are some of my favourite outfits that the Duchess wore for days that she stayed in Canada:

Catherine has really made herself a style icon. Now that she is a public figure, many people are interested in what she will wear next. What's amazing about her is that whatever she wears, it gets sold out immediately. Which outfit was your favourite? I can't pick and choose; I love it all!
