Versace to be the Next H&M Designer Collaboration

Hmm, most of us are always wondering who is the next designer to collaborate with H&M. Last year's collaboration with Lanvin was a huge success. I mean, only fashionistas craving for affordable high-end designer wear would line up in the wee hours of the morning, right? Well, wonder no more and mark your calenders as the next designer to collaborate with H&M is Versace!
Designed by Versace's Creative Director Donatella Versace, this new exclusive Fall collection with H&M will bring sexy leather, print and colour in the utmost exuberance-something that the House of Versace is mainly known for. The collaboration will include womenswear, menswear as well as selected pieces for the home, which is a first that I've heard of for designer collaborations with H&M. The collection will be released in North America on Saturday, November 19, 2011. The collection will be sold in store and online, so be on the lookout for it this Fall! In addition, Donatella will design a Pre-Spring collection for H&M which will be sold exclusively in countries with H&M online sales from January 19, 2012. How exciting is that?

I am a fan of Versace due to the sexy dresses and colours that models wear on the runway. Who can forget Jennifer Lopez's infamous sheer green Versace dress at the Grammy's a little while back?

Past designer collaborations with H&M included Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld, Jimmy Choo, Sonia Rykiel as well as Matthew Williamson.

Here is the announcement video from H&M and Donatella Versace:

Are you excited? Will you be lining up early in the morning for this collaboration?
